Friday Evening, August 15th

I will start this post with a couple of pictures of mine from the last stop in the Badlands.  Thought this one said it all.  We talked to another camper and they had actually seen one of these on their walk and had taken pictures.  Fortunately, we did not have any encounters with them, the snakes I mean.
Here are a few more that I took.

Now we are in the Black Hills as Bob had posted.  Here is another picture at Mt. Rushmore.

Today, Friday we took a tour through Custer State Park and the pictures are below.  Again, our pictures do not do the scenery we have seen justice.

We had hoped to see some buffalo, but did not see them in the park, but did find some fancy ones in the town of Custer.  The artwork is just unbelievable.  We did not take pictures of all of them, but here are a few.  I have also added 2 pictures of a pronghorn that we did see in the park.
Pronghorn, also know as antelope

Tomorrow our journey continues, but we are not moving far.  Just to the town of Deadwood, all of about 50 miles.  From there we will maybe try our luck in a casino and the next day we are planning a day trip from there to see the Devils Tower.  Will post more later.
